WobblingPWr team goes to Africa!

Our research team has submitted two abstracts to the 5th Mopane Meeting on Visual and Physiological Optics (Pilanesberg, RSA), to be held between 25^th and 30^th August 2025,

Mopane meeting is a prestigious conference bringing together world-renowned specialists from around the globe. Its first edition took place in 1996, and it was historically there that its participants decided to organize the EOS Topical Meeting on Physiological Optics (currently the Meeting on Visual and Physiological Optics) on a biennial basis (with a break during the pandemic). It should be emphasized that the Mopane Meeting on Visual and Physiological Optics still remains that unique, special series of meetings for experts in the field of physiological optics and visual optics.

Therefore we are very proud to present some results our collaborative research with Jorge Grasa from Aragón Institute of Engineering Research (I3A), Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain, Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine Networking Biomedical Research Centre (CIBER-BBN) at Mopane'25.

Our contributions are:

1. "3D Biomechanical Modeling of Crystalline Lens Oscillations Triggered by Gaze Shifts" authored by Jorge Grasa, Milad Salimibani, Agnieszka Boszczyk and Damian Siedlecki;
2. "Measurement of Wobbling Parameters Among Young Healthy People" authored by Agnieszka Boszczyk, Agnieszka Jóźwik, Adrianna Gawryszuk, Jorge Grasa, Damian Siedlecki and Magdalena Asejczyk.
   
   

We wish Agnieszka, Agnieszka and Jorge a nice stay in RSA - it's going to be a very nice adventure and scientific experience for all of you!
