#WobblingFacts

Data: 13.03.2021

Do you know that crystalline lens wobbling was first observed in 1936 by an Australian medician A.W. D'ombrain?
He described a clinical case of a cataractous subject, whose lens was "tremulous" while being examined with slit-lamp.
His observation was as follows:
"on the slightest movement of the eyes, the lens trembled as if it were suspended on a elastic ring".
Without physical background of the author, the explanation of the phenomenon was still unknown.
